Duane Murdoch
District 5 Commissioner

Duane ran for county office to work toward keeping government fiscally responsible and to ensure that the county infrastructure remains good for all business now and in the future.

Duane is a graduate of Nehawka High School and Southeast Community College in Milford. He is a current Cass County Zoning Commission member, Nehawka Fire Board Member and a former Conestoga School Board member.

He is a lifetime resident of Cass County and lives in rural Nehawka with his wife Eileen and daughter Megan on the farm his family began farming in 1859. Duane farms with sons Nicholas and Nathan. The rest of his family includes daughter-in-law Erin and three granddaughters and one grandson.
