County Attorney

Perrone Photo.jpg

Chris Perrone
Cass County Attorney

Chris was appointed by the Cass County Board of Commissioners in January to fill the vacancy left by former County Attorney Colin Palm, who was recently appointed a county court judge within the district. He was in private practice from 2007-2021 and served as a prosecutor in the Sarpy County Attorney's Office from 1998-2004. He remains an active member of the Nebraska Army National Guard serving overseas in both Iraq and Africa as a member of the JAG Corps.

So this week's photo was obviously taken in the Winter. I intend to follow-up with a Summer photo taken in the same location in just a few months. Seems like the look and landscape of the lakes throughout the county change the most over the seasons. Expect this private cove, the water, the trees, the grass, and the people to come alive in the next few weeks/months. Do you know which of our county's great lakes is represented in this photo?

Much of the ice has already melted and the grass is starting to turn green in this cove on Beaver Lake just off Rock Bluff Road in the east central part of the county. Beaver lake is the largest lake community in the county covering approximately 300 acres. An additional 1,000 single family homes surround the lake, but there are still a few vacant lots if you are interested? Check back this summer for a lively follow-up photo.
